Riina (Riina Mikkonen born in 1977) is a finnish singer-songwriter who only made one album called Valveilla unessa (Awake in a dream). She has a background of acting in theatre and in musicals in her hometown Joensuu and she studied piano and singing in the University of Helsinki. She has also been a dancer, a model and a poet. Riina has always been a curious traveller and her love for India shows in her songs. Her only album came out in 1998 with 10 songs in it, all of wich were written by her. (One of the songs had lyrics made by Kalle Chydenius). Soon after that she disappeared to India to live in Amma's a.k.a. Mata Amritanandamayi's ashram and is known there as Uma. Read more on Last.fm.
