Sitting in the grass, watching the world around her Elvya was singing songs that no-one had ever heard before, inspired by nature, fantasy and an empathy for every living being on this planet.Even when Elvya was a little girl her songs spoke of the beauty of the natural world all around her. Elvya’s songs are epic and full of fantasy, every song takes you on a different path, different journeys through her voice that lay out whole landscapes in your minds eye. An intriguing instrument is sometimes heard in her songs: the hammered dulcimer, An old Slavic instrument which evokes emotions of times now long since past. When Elvya has to call out some of her inspirations she speaks of: Faun, Two Steps From Hell, Arjen Anthony lucassen and Enya. Nowadays Elvya has worked with some big names in the music industry. She played along with Arjen Anthony Lucassen on the album ‚ Lost in the New Real’. Besides this she has worked with Walking horizon and Leaves Eyes. Not to be forgotten Elvya auditioned in 2014 for Eurosong and was selected to be part of the Belgian pre-selections. At the moment Elvya is working on her new album! The release is scheduled for spring 2015. The Album will be heralded by the single „Ann’Vatu” which will be out on the 15th of October 2014.
