'Darby' or 'darby' is the name of two artists on Last.fm. There are also a number of artists with forms of the surname 'Darby', such as Terence Trent D'Arby. 1. Darby is an unsigned Dallas, Texas based alternative rock and progressive rock band. The groups The Feds, Deftones, Fair to Midland, and Shaolin Death Squad are major influences as well as the more mainstream artist Tool. Darby has participated in music festivals such as Ozzfest and Taste of Chaos. In 2007, they released their first EP, The Clearing, which was produced by Alex Gerst and Blue October's platinum recording artist Matt Noveskey. Musicians Blake Trotter, Bryan Ziegler, Alex Fletcher, Tim Ziegler, and 'The Rip' make up the band. As of 2007, they all live in suburban McKinney, Texas. 2.
