黒石ひとみ
Kuroishi Hitomi (黒石ひとみ) is a dream pop / neoclassical singer-songwriter and composer from Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Her soft voice and use of ethereal choirs is reminiscent of Enya. She is credited simply as Hitomi for her vocals. She is noted for her involvement with the soundtrack of the Last Exile anime series, for which she composes as part of the group Dolce Triade (the other members are Fujiwara Maki and Yamamoto Yuki) in addition to performing the ending theme Over The Sky. Kuroishi Hitomi has worked alongside composer Nakagawa Koutarou on a number of anime soundtracks, namely Planetes, Gun × Sword and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Her most recent contribution was for studio GONZO's second-to-last (to date) anime series Shangri-La, for which she composed the entire soundtrack, except for the song Orange Kandara.
